What's Happening in Phys. Ed.
  PRK - K -1 2 - 3 4 - 5 - 6
SEPT. Work on gross motor, loco motor skills, body coordination, developing body strength, cooperative games and ball manipulation.   Work on gross motor, loco motor skills, physical fitness assessment, skills related to soccer and cooperative games. Developing skills and team concepts in the sports of soccer and speed ball, cooperative games.  The Connecticut Physical Fitness Tests were administered.
OCT. Work on gross motor, loco motor skills, body coordination, developing body strength, cooperative games and ball manipulation.   Work on gross motor, loco motor skills, physical fitness assessment, skills related to soccer and cooperative games. Developing skills and team concepts in the sports of soccer and speed ball, cooperative games.  The Connecticut Physical Fitness Tests were administered.
NOV. Ball skills of bouncing, throwing, and catching. Continuing skills from prior months Developing skills for basketball and carrying the skills over to lead-up games for basketball.  Continue to work on physical fitness Teaching game-related skills and concepts to play basketball.  Continue to work on physical fitness.
